Dang, might need a new forum just for all the kayak builders in Fiji . . . . . :D

Dave, my advice is to get in touch with John Caldeira, a long-time contributor to this forum. He moved to Fiji a year or so ago, has built a pair of strippers, and is now working on a pair of S&G/strip hybrids. I'm sure he'll chime in any old minute now, but I can help you connect if he doesn't.
