My daughter was painting with finger paints one day we were in the garage working on her kayak. I had already epoxied the stems, but I had her put hand prints on both sides of the bow & stern. I then epoxied over them.
It didn't seem to give the epoxy any issues and I don't know how it'll last/hold up. But, it'll be covered with skin and only she and I will really know they're there.
