Finished building one of Bjorn Thomasson's designs, an Isfjord. The project started with a couple of heavy northern white pine boards milled by my cousin over a quarter century ago.
Still have some outfitting to do, but the boat made a nice impression on her maiden voyage yesterday. It turns sharply for an eighteen foot boat (I extended it a half foot or so), and while not especially quick, should surf nicely.
