: Since I'm on here I may ask for any tips on joining the deck to the hull.

There are lots of prior posts on the subject but I always had a so so results on my searches. So I will say most of the time the hull/deck match will be a lot off and it will take work to get them to match, but they will if you take your time and let the parts use the heat of summer let the parts creep. It is one of the negatives of composite construction, constant load with heat and or vibration will change shape and stay. All of the composite home built airplanes are very light colors. It may take four times over two weeks to get a bad spot to line up but mine did and are very smooth and fair.
