: Glad your skinning went well! How do you like that 14oz polyester? I looked

Thanks Dave,
I am building the Sea Bee for a friend and he was wanting a boat that would hold up to river paddling with occasional logs and snags. That is why I chose the 14oz for this boat. I like it very much over the nylon I used in the past. It seems tough as ever and the polyester shrinks in a very controllable way. You just iron slowly and gently and the light wrinkles just disappear.
The Sea Pup and the Nikumi that I am building will get the 8oz polyester.
The multi chine Sea Bee with the 14oz is still lighter than any kayak my friend has ever gotten to paddle. He is so stoked he just hounds me to get it finished.
I will post pictures of it when I do. Should be this week end.
