They don't come any easier to build than a CLC chesapeake and there are numerous build diaries on the net to assist understanding. I'm currently building a OneOcean Cirrus. the Cirrus plans use templates but my personal preference is for plans that use offsets. you will learn a lot more about the building process once you understand offsets and be able to tackle freebies like the Cormorant or eventually design your own down the track.
