Efficiency gains are hard to guess and even harder to model outside of professional naval architecture programs which I can't afford. The boat has a 22" beam so should be relatively easy to paddle. Sit on top and feet are in the hulls.

Should (finally) have it in the water in a couple weeks at most and then we'll see.
