Just wondering if anyone had tried it and what happened, if anything?
Did it work? did it fail miserably? Something in between?

There is a potential for problems with the deck beam pulling against the keel and stringers. Of course the keel pulls anyway. I have a couple of ideas on how to do it. I have just learned to learn from others mistakes when ever possible. No need to reinvent the wheel. :)
