Some of you might remember my boat- the one with the hull twist. I've managed to fix this - replaced both gunwales and the hull twist was gone. The skin is polyester with oil based finish (I've tried some paints to get the translucent effect). Deck is clear still.

The boat performs very well as far as I can tell (I'm a beginner in paddling). Unfortunately I've managed to get capsized in the waves and after my wet exit the boat was full with sand (especially in the edges) - someone to give an idea how to clean this? I'm afraid that this will damage the skin from inside.
