The lashing itself looks fine, but I prefer to put the hole in the gunwale directly below the edge of the deck beam, as it created a more direct line of pull. It appears from the photo that either the gunwale angle has changed as the frame was lashed or the beams weren't cut with the proper angle on the ends. Are you seeing actual spreading at both the top and bottom of the beams (daylight visible at the joint) or just a change in angle? Some of the latter is pretty much inevitable and isn't anything to worry about.
