Attached is a pic I received yesterday from Cor Lammes(NL). It's an older
Struer Lancer and is quite beautiful and of molded veneer construction.

Your obvious skills should serve you well no matter the type construction you employ.

It doesn't appear to me that moulded veneer should be any more difficult than
woodstripping, as each requires that you attach individual thin strips
( woodstrip or veneer) to achive the final shape.

In fact, since the cold or hot moulding of several layers of thin / narrow
veneers calls for no fiberglassing to achive strength as does stripping,
it may actually be the easier of the two methods. However, having not yet
worked with veneers, I could be wrong.

The one aspect of woodstripping that I liked least was working with
fiberglass. I prefer quick and simple builds, making SOF, especially
aluminum frames, my method of choice.
