You got that right. That said, have you ever talked to a dyed-in-the-wool Quebecois? Not much difference. I have a major problem trying to understand both of those accents. It isn't just the accent, it's the coloquialisms (sure hope I got that word roigt, eh!). If I had to talk to someone with those accents to save my life, I'd have to save myself. Toss in to that tangle my hearing impairment and you have a recipie for major confusion.
