: Bear in mind that Kleppers hold their value very well. Coughing up a couple
: of thousand dollars for a replacement skin for a 40 year old Klepper is
: not false economy. The value of the old boat can increase that much
: because of the new skin.
Addendum:
I noticed on another site you said you were trying to make a replacement ring. Keep in mind that the value of you boat is maintained only if it is unaltered. If you make any changes that can't be readily reveresed the value of your boat goes out the window.
