STAPELESS? yeh, especially on hull...I know that I'm setting myself up for a very SLOW-BUILD process. But, I'm 66, retired and have done LOTS of stone/wood/metal sculpting art stuff.
WIfey thinks I need a winter project. THIS is it. Got really bad knees...so don't know if I will be the one putting this booger in water.
Going to approach it as a ART piece. Yeh, first time out...know that I'm not going to have a NICK lookAlike....but...it will be hanging in my garage....lot of people are going to see it...and.....the HULL will be out thar in sight too.
The sacrificial piece....like that idea.
I have 80 clamps and plan on making a bunch of those little wooden pieces to aid clamping.
TIME I got...Patience....well...have a jar of that...hope it is full enough.
Interesting part....have a bunch of retired neighbors who can't wait for me to start...think I had better get a bunch of chairs and a cooler....could be a generalstore atmosphere in here this winter
