You can go ahead and hot glue the inner stems to the end forms. Just put a dot of hot glue about every two inches. Then when you're stripping, just use wood glue to attach the strips to the inner stems. When you're ready to pull the hull off the forms (after glassing the outside), just lift the end... the weight of the beam/forms will do the work without any banging.
