: I often turn boat frame on it's side and use an 'F' clamp on one of the
: stringers and clamp it to the stand/saw horse to install footrests or do
: something. I Would assume you could do the same?
Actually the day yesterday proved to be more "interesting" than normal
First was only 74 degrees in garage "shop" and was sweating so much I finally broke down and bought a dehumidifier, geez what a difference it makes. Nice comfy shop today after sucking a couple gallons of water out of the air
Also found that it's impossible to cover an assymetrical shaped boat in one piece of fabric. Will cover either the flat inner side of the hull nice and smooth or the rounded outer side, but not both. So have to split the fabric and cover them separately. Since with my covering method the fabric is not required to be waterproof on it's own that won't matter, just have to figure out where is the best place to split it. Likely just to one side of the keel.
Ended up with spring clamps holding the temporary cross piece supports (ama supports) clamped to the sawhorses worked well enough to do this.
