exactly. I got fixated on the pump business after seeing how hopeless pumping out was in the conditions that dumped you, but developing a roll was a much more preferable avenue than dealing with the consequences of a wet exit, of which pumping water was only ONE part. A little squeeze bulb foot pump makes sense for the quart that develops over 15minutes.
I hope the op pursues the project but it's gotta be a slick durable product suited for the most likely customer,,which isn't going to be a sea kayaker.
