You'd have the same issues as any metal building... hot in summer/cold in winter. You might consider putting a peaked roof over it to give shade/insulation, and you could use a large fan to both remove dust and ventilate it in the summer. Unless you insulate and heat it, you'd probably want to do all your glass/epoxy work in the warm months.

One cool thing... if you need to, you can take your whole kayak project to another location in mid-build!
