It is important to use 3M Scotch packing tape. Cheapo brands tend to leave the PSA glue stuck on the boat. PSA tends to stick more if it is left in place for longer periods (days). The jig only stays in one spot for a minute. I put a piece of blue masking tape on each slot location and then layout both of the slot centerlines at each location. Then the actual jig attachment and router cutting takes a total of 10 minutes to do the complete deck.
