It is possible to get second hand refrigerated containers. If they are too damaged for shipping you can get them cheap. You can also get the backs off retired refrigerated trucks. These would be scrap items and cheap. But fine for a work space.
The advantage is that they are very well insulated, and usually white inside, good for light.
I use containers for kayak storage. If I was to use one for construction I would cut a window or two into it, or them, high up for light and ventilation.
I have a friend who has a 40 ft container buried in the hillside behind his house. It is completely hidden and insulated by the surrounding earth.
Containers are narrow. The best option would be to get two and use one for the build and one for storage, tools off boat work etc.
half containers are are more manageable, but are only 20 ft long, so would not accommodate a double.
