New Book OK, but Petrel offsets are "WAY OFF"

Awhile back, I inserted all Petrel's offsets from the book into Rhino 4 and came up with a point cloud, but linking all the points together formed VERY unfair curves and surfaces at best. Very disappointing. Probably due to the author using a very low resolution of 1/16", but most likely due to blatant, erroneous information. Form 2 is WAY out of true and verticle position, as are most of the other station forms. This could only be the work of some mischevious nut trying to make another buck on yet another a book with tainted data. Why even give offsets if you don't intend to give the correct data?!? Making bucks = good!, Purposely tainted figures = BAD!
