Hi Eric,

Nope I'd not seen them and they are really pretty and I've saved the link :)

They are laminated veneer for sure, there are several ways to clamp veneers other than using vacuum bagging and since they started in the late 60's they may use one of the older methods. Though vaccum bagging would certainly work, it doesn't have a good initial clamping pressure so makes handling very thin veneer tricky.
