I use a Canon 50D with a 28-135 and a 10-22 lens that I keep in a deck bag with a dry bag type closure. I also carry a 500mm often. It sits in a dry bag and hangs from it's foot from the front of the cockpit. Scott Campbell uses a Canon Rebel with a SIGMA 18-250 and Canon 10-22 and 200-400. He protects them the same way. I have never had a problem. On the Lake Powell trip with a solid week of rain I would put my camera bodies in a dry bag with a very dry fleece to draw the moisture out. The first pictures in the slide show were taken with point and shoots but I do have difficulty with the limitations and the shutter delay.
