It looks like Honduras mahogany, I've used thousands of board feet of the stuff, am fairly familiar with it. It's fairly light at around 34 lbs. per cubic ft., while WRC is around 23 lbs. per cubic ft. (source Glen-L Marine, a wonderful online resource for boatbuilding)
