FWIW: I plan on using Titebond I on my next boat, used Titebond II on the first and I think I'd like it to set up faster.

If the epoxy/fiberglass stays in good shape, the glue doesn't matter much. I just needs to keep the thing together long enough to get the fiberglass on, which was a problem for me when I did my combing.

When I did the combing, I washed the excess off and thinned the glue too much. It kept coming loose (grumble).
