: I love my Redfish Seat, but for ultimate comfort I add a thermarest pillow to
: it in the following way: 1. place the thermarest pillow on the Redfish
: seat with the valve closed and sit into the boat. Get happy (footrests
: etc).

: 2. slightly open the valve and allow the pillow to deflate slowly until you
: are just a millimetre above the seat bottom.

: 3. Close valve.

: Your lower physiognomy (watch that filter) becomes thus perfectly supported
: in all areas. The result is like sitting on a cloud and doesn't compromise
: low centre of gravity.

: In addition to the above: I put two extra pieces of CS camp-mattrass inside.
: One between the footpegs to support my heals laterally so that they don't
: keep sliding into the middle of the boat and one to support my thighs
: against the topsides near the cockpit. (the photo should make it clear).

That's great - and notes the obvious - a new target audience! My wife became notably more interested in my boat when I mentioned 'wine'...
