Just put some tung oil on it. 7 ft. long at 25.7 oz. I prefer a longer paddle but the board I had was 7 ft. long. It will dent easily. A tip I heard was to press a round object like a screw driver blade against the wood to toughen it. Maybe I will have to do that. But as far as looks and weight, I am happy. I will most likely stick it in the water tomorrow.
