: I wanted low deck to minimize wind resistance in cross-wind paddling, as
: winds are often in the 10-15 knot range here in Fiji. The low-deck provide
: less downwind drift and less need for course-correcting paddling strokes,
: at the expense of a wetter ride and les bulkhead storage.
