Most of Nick's kayaks are better the rougher it gets. You can see he always post pics paddling in the open ocean in the waves. One feature I like with the smooth deck hull joint in the waves the whole front of the kayak can go under the water and not trip like sharp edge of a greenland deck, I have come off the face of wave to the bottom turn started with most of the kayak under with great control.
