Thanks for the pointers. Sanding it will be.
However, at least for my kayak, if it doesn't dry, it will probably get burned and I'll buy a commercial fiberglass boat. I've had enough. That is why I would cut corners here at the end.
I will never understand how you guys make such beautiful boats, over and over, for fun. It seems to be a labor of love. In my case, it is just the sheer weight of the work that has gone on before that is carrying me. It has become my albatross.
Oh well, live and learn.
