Heya, I have never replaced a seal so I have no idea how easy that would be. I do know how to sew and glue stuff so I would have to say that it can't be that hard to do. Trimming the seals should be done quite easily with sharp sissors. Trim and do test fits until it feels right. Get your wife to do a video of your test fitting procedure...we could all use a laugh. ;)
