: I don't know what category to put this in, but if you have an hour and high
: speed to watch a French Canadian native I think he is, built a canoe out
: of a tree he cuts down with an ax, sew it together with roots, shapes two
: ribs at a time in 45 seconds on his knee, and all on the dirt ground and
: never put any metal into it then you will be as spellbound as I was
: watching this. I thought we were craftsmen but this guy is the real thing.
: His craft must have been passed down from father to son over hundreds of
: years or more.
: Enjoy,
: John Monroe
Thanks for that John ,that is the best doco i have seen for years, very inspirational and the guy still has 10 fingers,
what a work of art.
we dont get to see much of your native Canadians this side of the world
Cheers
Graham
