Thanks Scott, I was amazed at how well it came back, and that took just a couple of hours to peel off the fiberglass, and one afternoon of sanding. Well, I forgot- also one morning of wiping down with acetone. Anyway, it came back quickly from the dead.

The view off my porch is of the Caribbean from St. Thomas, VI. You can see Buck and Capella, which are great places to kayak and lie just a few miles offshore. Off in the distance is Frenchman's Cap, which is a tall peak sticking out of the water about 8 miles offshore, and is surrounded by tall cliffs. Great diving and spearfishing, but no place to beach a kayak.

Thanks for the comment. I'll post more pics when I put on the 'glass. It should be ready this weekend but I will likely wait a week so I can have everything ready to go and the whole weekend to do it.
