Hi Len,
I guess I am not sure what you are looking for. I have been using BLACK double braid polyester (Dacron) line for years on my kayaks. I have found it in several places, even Dollar Stores. I like the look of double braid over single braid, I use 3/8" as carry toggles on my kayaks by using a double fishermans knot as the handle, which looks really "sweet" I did a Google search for double braid polyester and found more suppliers than anyone would ever want.I would also check E-Bay.
I did a quick search on Defenders website and came up with 1/4" black double braid polyester cord, however, this one has a tracer. I know your getting frustrated with the replies, even though everyone is trying to help, but no one is finding exactly what you are looking for. Could you supply a pic or a link to the exact product your looking for. I am sure I will find a source.
