There was a wonderful story about a BBC reporter doing a story about dolphins
in a river in China (the Yangtse, I think). He hadn't got a proper hydrophone
and knew you could waterproof a conventional microphone with a condom. So he
set about buying some contraceptives and spent hours whilst people tried to
convince him that the pills were much better ....

This puts a whole new light on that conversation at the barbers ...

"Something for the weekend sir ?"

"Oh, good idea ! I'm planning a night kayaking trip when my camera won't
work. I'd like a couple of small red and green ones and any colour will do
for the Mike, as long as it's extra-large..."

Well, that's what weekends are for, isn't it ?
