That's interesting because someone else said that, but for my strip-built I bent the coaming with no problem from fir. I always heard mahogany is hard to bend. Anyway, going to do some tests with what I have available. Maybe I'll make the whole thing out of mahogany and if it weighs a ton I'll use it for decoration!
