...presents difficulties, this is true. The glue you use to hold strips together while they are on the moulds can be warmed by using a dentist's syringe to do the applications (small volume) and keeping it on or near a light bulb or space heater while you fit and measure strips. If using a space heater, a larger amount of glue can be kept warm for refilling the syringe...and then if you bought your glue in bulk, the bigger container can be kept in your house.

As for epoxy, I know there are some that are specifically made for use in cold temperatures. I'm not sure if West Systems carries this product, but System 3 or some other popular brand does...as you near that particular part of the build, you can guage what weather conditions you might encounter and then order your supplies at that time.

As with any heating unit, precautions should be taken to prevent fire and depending on the source, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide poisoning. Working with solvents and flamable finishes is also discouraged in the presence of any open flames or heating coils.

Other ideas I've heard of were creating a curtain or tent of plastic (visqueen here in the States) around the imediate area of your boat, and using electric lights within that space...the kind of lights painters might use with halogin bulbs (film crews use these types of lights too)...this might keep things cozy in the imediate area of your build and the rest of your shop will remain cold.

My own experience was stripping my deck in January and February in Wisconsin...with temperatures more in the single digits and teens (farenheight)...I used tight bond and had a dentists syringe for use, which I parked on a light bulb in between gluing, and a couple ounce container for refills, which I put in my waist band near my skin... the gallon refill jug was in the house where it was warm. It worked out fine.
