The wood was dry so I don't think it is the frame shrinking.

Dave, I know you paint yours and I painted this one too. So do you heat it after it is painted? I had been thinking about trying that but didn't know about the paint if that would be a problem. I am probably going to reskin this anyone at some point. Several things I am not happy with. So I don't care to experiment some with it. I am going to try putting in hatches at some point too. So not a biggie if I ruin the skin. Just not right now.

This is more annoying than nylon to me. We went out with the two Curlews today and nylon boat honestly looked better than the polyester boat. The nylon doesn't loosen up nearly as much as it did 6 months ago. I thought polyester was going to be "The Stuff" but this has not impressed me much frankly. Especially since it is so hard to sew.
