: The HH-66 glue Yost uses would be fine too. He uses it as a contact cement,
: with some added heat . It is a full-strength bond once it cools to room
: temperature--a matter of seconds. VLP is used wet, and takes a few hours
: to develop full strength.

: monel staples at Home Depot, or stainless steel staples from online

: You can use plain steel staples to hold your vinyl in place while it is being
: glued , then pull the staples and seal the holes with a couple drops of
: VLP. Or, look at how Yost laces up the PVC skins before he glues them. A
: few holes punched in the waste area, are all it takes. Cut away the excess
: after the glue hardens.

It should also be noted that the clear vinyl is unsupported, has no fabric scrim that the regular material Tom uses so the clear vinyl is not anywhere near as strong. It's pretty though
