I've used and love Yakima racks since my sailing days in the '70s. Good, solid, stuff, and the round bars are more adaptable than the Thule square bars. We also have a Thule system, for bolting onto a BMW, which won't take the Yakima equipment. I like the Yakima much better and only wish they made a bolt-on for the Bimmer. There's my 2c.
