Part of being a dad is allowing your kids to have their own adventures. That being said I was welcome to go and I wish I would have. These are pictures from Austin and Colby's trip from Bullfrog to just above Sevenmile Canyon on Lake Powell. They put on the water about dark on Thursday and got home about 6:00 tonight. The total distance was just over 50 miles and about 12 hours of driving. Day time temps were about 85 and nights were cold. Plenty of sun, red cliffs and Anasazi ruins. Motor boats were abundant until they got beyond Forgotten Canyon. Robert these pictures should melt the snow in your whiskers. You may remember my trip report form Powell this same time of year in 2006 when Powell had the worst rain in history.
