: Saw a 'new and improved' approach somewhere - don't recall where - in which,
: rather than cutting the hatchcover off and trying to re-align with the
: hull while the rim moulding is setting up - they cut the hatch out except
: for four, 1 cm spots, keeping the hatch perfectly aligned. After the
: moulded rim was removed, the hatch was completely cut out, and proceed as
: usual. Note - I haven't done this, myself, but it's how I plan to do it.

Great plan. That's the way I do it now, but didn't want to complicate my post on the mold release. You probably saw my earlier post on this:
