So with the ever-resourceful Google (what would our economy do without them...), I found a source of HBN out of Colorado (link below). I was curious if anybody had used this source before...?
The primary reason for me posting this is that I have searched the forum, and read that the 5-micron HBN is too small, and "too clumpy" when mixed? The suggestion was to get the 7-micron. Well, this place offers 8-micron, but they don't have it in a smaller sample size... They do however have a 10-micron 1# sample size (~$60). I am hoping to use the HBN with Cab-o-Sil to finish the final filling and fairing of my upcoming build (not concerned about opaqueness). The 10-micron should work fine, right...?
Lastly, any suggestions on what to do for a flat white tough UV coating...? I wish I could just leave everything the final flat white this stuff comes out with, but worried about the Epoxy degrading... I've read of folks using a different West hardner (207?), but I already have plenty of MAS epoxy. I'm open to any and all suggestions~
