The one thing I wish I did was to add the silica to th HBN for the hull of the VJ. It creates a pretty tough coating. Ah well, odds are I will resand the whole kayak, recoat it and give her a new paint job. The ash rub strip at the stern end of the keel has splintered off badly and I have a new brass strip waiting to be installed. That will be my winter project no doubt.
