Well, I can't say that I abused the boat too much, since I learned to kayak in glass boats, and learned to go around rocks (thanks Milo Duffek). The friend I sold it to paddled it down the Grand Canyon -- their trip was a feature article in National Geographic Adventure several years ago (I think I still have the magazine). I first became aware of New Wave when another friend bought a Screamin' Meanie, which is also a river runner. There is a picture of the Screamin' Meanie on the PC Composites website.
