The reported advantage of using G/flex in some applications is that the low elastic modulus can accommodate strain between dissimilar materials or bonded patches. So, if you want a very flexible laminate in the off-axis directions, G/flex would be a good choice. But I don’t believe it will bond significantly better to Spectra than any other epoxy.

Be careful with that torch! The melting point is so low that the cure temperatures required of many resins and adhesives are too high to allow its use.
