: It ain't finished, but my Greenlander Night Heron hit the water for a brief
: few days at the annual DelMarva Paddlers Retreat (for those crazy
: Greenland-style paddlers). The outfitting was temporary and barely enough
: to get me on the water. Lots of varnishing and outfitting left.
: I believe this kayak is going to meet all of my expectations for it. It rolls
: easier than my skin-on-frame and is highly maneuverable without giving up
: decent tracking. The paddling and rolling shots at the link are of my
: friend Dave. Note the extension of the cockpit aft, while still an ocean
: cockpit forward.
: Thanks to Nick for a great design and support, to Newfound Woodworks for a
: very complete kit and support and to all you guys who gave me tips over
: the last two plus years.
