: Planning to build cedar strip kayak and trying to pick the best design for
: kayaking around the San Juan Islands (Washington State). Mostly day
: kayaking with some weekend touring. Tried out and liked the Seda-Ikkuna
: (17' LOA, 22" BOA), P&H-Cetus (17'-1" LOA, 22.5" BOA)and
: the Wilderness Systems-Tempest(17' LOA, 22" BOA). Thinking of
: building a Guillemot. Any recommendations?

I'm thinking yer gonna need a 'sponsor' for these paddles - just to ensure all goes well, and you don't encounter any undue stress.

Unfortunately, I'm neither qualified nor locally available, though at least one of those negations is remediable. I suspect others will be along shortly to remedy this problem.
