Depends on if this is a paddling craft like a kayak for a rowing boat where one sits backwards and uses oars to power the boat and then if the rowing boat allows sliding seats. Rowing craft with sliding seats are somewhat more tricky to design as there are relatively huge changes in CG. They can also be very fast.
