You are quite correct on that point. I've been torn ever since I created the template, because I think it looks "really cool"... However my intent is once all the interior seams are glued up, I'm going to put a pretty glob of thickened epoxy with a small shaped piece of Okoume backing it up. Once it cures I'm going to be shaving that entire corner part down, rounding it off. One of the really rewarding parts of this boat build has been exercising my vision, in looking ahead towards my final shape. Its becoming more like sculpture to me.

I just hope it looks nice after I hack it down
